This is an anticipated residential development that is to be built along the Potomac River. The site was extremely wet and held water in many locations. To stabilize the site Jack L. Massie Contractor, Inc. installed drainage ditches and graded the site to drain. This has allowed the site to begin the stabilization process which will allow for future construction of the development.

Colonial Heritage is a gated, age restricted residential development being built by Lennar in Williamsburg, Va. The project is being constructed in phases and includes amenities such as an Arthur Hills Golf Course and its Club House.
Jack L. Massie Contractor, Inc. has constructed the entire infrastructure system for the development, including the bulk earthwork for the golf course.

Location: Isle of Wight County
Project Size: 12 acres
Procurement: Negotiated
This project was a fast track 330,000 square foot distribution warehouse located in Windsor, VA. Jack L. Massie Contractor, Inc. was responsible for the entire site work package. The soil conditions were extremely wet and even with that problem the project was completed in record time.

Project Name: West Point Landfill Operation

Location: King William County Procurement: Industrial
Jack L. Massie Contractor, Inc. has been responsible for the daily operation of this industrial waste disposal facility for twenty one years. During this time we have constructed several synthetic lined cells and installed several closure caps.
The Department of Environmental Quality has consistently graded this facility as excellent in operation. Dust minimization, cleanliness, ease of access and operation are cited as areas where this facility is a leader in the waste management field

This is an elementary school built on Brick Bat Road. JLMCI was responsible for the entire site work package, including the widening of Brick Bat Road, for this project. The work also included the construction of three ball fields.

This Project was completed in two phases. The first was a preliminary site package to prepare the overall site and ball fields for the construction of the new high school. The second contract was for the actual school itself and the utilities and parking lots needed to operate the school. Jack L. Massie Contractor, Inc. was responsible for the site work in both contracts. The first as the Prime Contractor and the second as the Site work subcontractor.
