Jack L. Massie Contractor, Inc. (JLMCI) facilities include the campus at 3900 Cokes Lane and the Mineral Resource Area (MRA) at 5701 Centerville Road in James City County. JLMCI is committed to continually upgrading these facilities in order to enhance the productivity of the company and better service the needs of its clients.
The Cokes Lane campus features a modern office building, two personnel buildings with employee training areas, an equipment maintenance shop, a scale house for truck dispatching, warehouses for storage of environmental, water and sanitary sewer materials, a stone unloading conveyor system for its railroad siding and a cement treated aggregate plant. The railroad siding at this location provides direct access to CSX railroad and enables JLMCI to supply a wide variety of stone products to its clients. The campus provides a home for managing the operations of the company and the maintenance of its fleet of 500 trucks and equipment.
The Mineral Resource Area (MRA) allows JLMCI to supply sand and clay fill materials, and topsoil to our customers. Jack L. Massie Contractor, Inc. is also permitted to dispose of inert material at this site. This facility is permitted by the Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy and our operators are certified to its standards.
